Cultural Education Research Initiative – CERI

We have been working with Liverpool Hope University and Curious Minds to research the impact of the DaDaFest Ensemble programme. 

DaDaFest Ensemble delivers accessible music-based activities to young people in Liverpool. It presents progression routes for aspiring musicians, provides musical role models and helps to effect organisational change.  

The research focused on the young Ensemble musicians who take part and the experiences of the lead musicians. 

DaDaFest Ensemble has been running successfully for four years and this research enables us to develop a better understanding of what works well and why, and the impact it has. 

The research took place between February and May 2019 and here are some of the outcomes.
